Opening Remarks
Wendy Wolak  offered welcoming remarks including acknowledging sponsors, Mayor Mark Willmer and Councillor Mary Blank and land acknowledgement

Acceptance of 2023 AGM minutes
Recommendation: That the minutes of the Carson Trout Lepine and Greenan Lakes Association Annual General Meeting held May 21, 2023 be approved as written.

Financial Report was presented by Annabel Marsh
Recommendation: That the financial report for 2023 be accepted as presented.

Recommendation: that the annual audit or review engagement for 2024 be omitted as determined by extraordinary resolution.

Survey / Budget 2024 / Fund Raising  
Cheryl Pim presented an overview of the survey results, 2024 budget was positive, and presented photos of the calendar contest winners.

Committee Reports
Wendy Wolak announced that Al Best was unable to attend to give a report on the FMZ 15 zone, she also announced that the lake trout stocking took place on April 23rd. In place, she presented a loon video for the Get the Lead Out Campaign.
Water Quality Results 
Wendy reviewed and explained for TP, Calcium, Chloride, Secchi, Mercury, Alkalinity and Nitrates
Invasive Species Update,
confirmed the presence of the spiny water flea, banded mystery snail in Trout Lk and the phragmites popping up along Matcheski and Siberia Rd and the Wild Parsnip along Arbor Vitae. Still waiting for the results of the European Water Chestnut and Water Soldier. She asked to be vigilant keeping an eye out for the Round Goby and European Millfoil.
Number of Board Directors Bylaw Amendment
Recommendation: There shall be a Board of Directors made up of five to seven Directors.

A question was posed from the floor: why not have it stated to just have 5 directors? Wendy’s response was: more is better for fair representation.

Election of Directors for 2024
Wendy Wolak, Annabel Marsh, Steve Tovell, Kelly Stanutz and Tina Ditoro were elected to the Board.
No other nominees were put forth from the floor.

New Business
Wendy discussed volunteerism and the possibility of opening up a second tier of membership so that the next generation can serve on the Board.
Next Steps for 2024 were also presented
Announcements –  15 min
Frank Burchat announced the Winner of the Carson Lake ICE OFF lottery which was the Moores on Carson Lake. Apr 10, lost 10 more days of ice. No fish huts on the lake this year.
Volunteer Recognition was given to Doug Beingessner, Dave Hudder (cleanup of a difficult section of Siberia Road) and Frank Burchat (train derailment)
This summer’s social-Tina D’Toro announced that Jonathan and Annabel Marsh would host again this year’s social the weekend of August 24th. Also the possibility of a mid week event was discussed.Other ideas included Jeremy singing again, a movie by the beach, Volunteer breakfast.

Fire Chief Corwin Quade spoke to attendees on what’s important in fire prevention. He also offered to assess your property for fire risk.
